Description
The test rod is used for listening to the sound processor
without connecting it to an abutment. The same as the Cochlear ‘
bite bar’ it essentially transmits the output (vibrations) into the
jaw which can then be picked up by the organ of hearing. This
allows someone with ‘normal’ hearing to test or listen to a Ponto
bone-conduction instrument without an abutment.
Please note for hygiene reasons this product is excluded from
